What data we collect and why

The only place we collect personal data is the contact form. It asks you for:

We process this data solely to reply to your inquiry and to discuss possible cooperation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken to enter into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries). Providing the data is voluntary but necessary for us to get back to you.

Who we share data with

Form submissions go into our internal Bearly CRM system, where we handle inquiries. The system runs on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, located in the European Union. Hetzner acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use the data for its own purposes; the data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep data

How long we keep your data depends on whether your inquiry leads to cooperation:

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use cookies. Apart from the cookieless analytics described below (Umami), we use no tracking or profiling tools. We store a single item in your browser (localStorage) — your chosen light or dark theme — and only when you click the toggle yourself. This information never leaves your device, is not used for profiling, and is not linked to any identifier. For this reason the site does not require a cookie consent banner.

Analytics

To measure site traffic we use Umami — an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own infrastructure in the European Union. Umami collects only anonymised, aggregated statistics (such as page views, country, device type, and referral source). It uses no cookies, creates no persistent user identifier, and collects no personal data — which is why it requires neither your consent nor a cookie banner. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in analysing traffic and improving the site. Analytics data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area or shared with third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, port it, and object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if you believe we process your data unlawfully.

To exercise these rights, email office@bearly.pro.
